The latest and greatest

For starters I would like to scold Jack... not for his comments which he begged me to remove, but for the fact that he said his excuse was 2 liters of bad wine! Jack! Never, never, never drink bad wine! I would also like to point out a new link on the right ------>
A co-worker of mine has a Vegan blog and while I am not joining up some of the recipes look great!
As for other news the house is coming along fine thanks to Holly busting her ass painting every free minute. We also have the new roof coming next week. We are now two weeks away from moving! Yikes.

On Tuesday night we went to the baseball game with Holly's mom and Q and had a great time. It was very fun! Above is one of the pics from the game. Others will be coming soon.

Home Improvement

Well I took Friday off and we spent most of the weekend working on the house. Painting, painting and more painting. The crew we hired to scrape the popcorn ceilings and paint the ceilings and high areas finished on Friday morning and we got started on the rest. The office is done and so is the hall way up stairs. That just leaves the kitchen area and the bedrooms upstairs... Oh yeah and the basement!

So far it looks pretty good. We did the main living area downstairs in a color called peal harbor. It is kind of an adobe tan and then we did one wall in a terracota! Very bold but fun! Moving day is the 14th and we still have a ton of stuff to do before then! Yikes!

On Saturday Alex spent the day with his grandparents up in Greeley. It went really well by all accounts! The help was huge and it allowed Holly and I to get a lot done!

I am still trying to figure out when we should post some pics of the new paint so check back soon.

GOOD TIMES

Well here are a couple more photos that I feel pretty good about.

We have a final walk through with the painters in tomorrow morning so that should be exciting. We will have to get used to the bold wall we put in but I think once we see it with the rest of the color and furniture we will really like it. We did one wall in a very bold teracota color. The other walls are a medium adobe tan so it should look pretty good. Of course AJs room will be full of all sorts of fun color.

Getting closer to moving in!

Well it looks like the painters are almost done and we can't wait to get in there and see what it looks like. It also means we are ready to start painting the rest of the place that we were going to do. Very exciting stuff. For those of you that have not see the house here is a nice little pic of the new digs! Hope you can come and visit soon.

My Blog - take 2

Well for some reason everything I put up over the last few days took a crap so I will start over and see if it is any better.

That sad part is that you will miss all of my pearls of wisdom that I had entered over the last 18 hours.
